Pak Loh Chiu Chow Restaurant @ Star Hill

這是几個月前跟家人用午餐的地方,位于star hill的底層.
是間潮州餐廳, 有煮炒,有粥,有粥~~
I went to this restaurant with my family few months a . It's a Teochew restaurant whis Located at the ground fLoor of Star Hill. They served porridge and rice~~




潮州式雪魚, 有蔥,mushroom & 酸菜..魚汁味道很鮮甜, 而且很送飯~~
Teochew style fish cook with mushroom, green onion and sour vege
The fish is fresh and tasty, Goes well with rice



鹵肉set : 鹵豬腸, 鹵蛋,ducK, 鹵 tofu, 鹵豬耳朵. 大家都覺得外面小店賣的較好吃
Braised combination set: the ingredients ar stew intestine, egg, duck, tofu and pig's ear
All of us have the same opinion that it doesn't taste better than outside stalls



Fried Chivas Salt. Meat, 味道也很一般



Pork belly soup :沒什么特別@湯. Nothing special Nor surprise to us.



Remark : 大家都覺得這餐廳的食物較貴.
All of us have the same feeling that it's a bit pricy with that kind of food they served

Bubba Gump @ The Curve

There's already a lot of Christmas decorations in shopping mall now ~

各大shopping mall 都有christmas的decoration了

my friend chose this bubba gump, other than prawns, there're fish, meat, steak, soup. salad, burger and many more.. But, it's not cheap.

除了蝦外,還有魚,牛肉,steak類,湯,salad & burger等等...食物价錢蠻貴的, 普通的都需rm20+了

the waitress recommend me their blueberry smoothie (@RM10.90) which taste good ~

Cajun shrimp (@RM20.90).. Shrimp cooked with a special spicy sauce which taste a bit spicy & salty. It's up to my expectation^^
come with 2 slices of garlic bread.. very crispy & go well with the shrimp

Cajun Shrimp (RM20.90)沒殼@蝦用特別的spicy sauce煮的,少少辣少少鹹很剛我口味 (但有點油)附2片garlic bread..很香脆的面包,配蝦一起吃很開胃

Bourbon street baramundi (@RM29.90) The shrimp & fish come with a big portion of mashed potatoes & spread with their bourbon street sauce (hehe.. I've no idea what's the ingredients of the sauce) Just taste like a mild spicy sweet curry)

Remark :
very good & warm service. Both food & environment also not bad. Just a bit pricy.

MURNI @ SS2

相信很多人都知道這間MAMAK STALL ,它位于SS2 跟Public Bank同排的.

它每天生意都超好的..桌位差不多排整條街 ^^

I believe many people know about this mamak stall which located at SS2 same row with Public Bank..Business extremely good!

我每次去必點@飲品..Mango Special ,我都是叫medium size@, mango肉+冰打的水加上龍眼+西瓜+蜜瓜..喜歡喝^^
My must order drinks is Mango Special(Medium size),It's a mixed of mangoes ice with longan, watermelon and honeydew... i like it very much^^

Ayam Pandan (RM3/each) 蠻香的~~ (murni雜飯@菜都不錯)
Pandan leaf chicken (RM3/pc), smell good & tasty (Murni mixed rice not bad)

米粉加蛋加炸雞 Mihun with egg & fried chicken

Indo Mee 加蛋 Indo Mee with egg

很多人order @ mee raja..(炒皇帝面) 好夠味..好吃
Many like to order Mee raja which taste real good

另個熱門菜 .. Dragon Pizza (RM12.00) ~~還是第一次在mamak吃pizza

皮有nan@感覺,覺得QQ地好咬下 內放有pepper味@雞肉+ cheese+ham+egg..整体很不錯,建議大家share share吃
The skin taste like nan... "QQ", quite chewy,stuff with pepper taste chicken cube + cheese+ham+egg.
Overall not bad, worth a try. I suggest to order one for sharing among all~~

共吃了RM40+..平均每人rm10
Total bill ard rm40+, average rm10 per person~

好多人都complaint它很骯臟,但我是抱著"眼不見為淨"的心態去吃的 ..為什么去吃它? ~~~因為很多選擇加上食物味道很合我^^

Many people complain the place is dirty. But, I close one eye just for the variety choices of food that provided there! hehe!

IKETERU (MIGF 2008 )@ KL HILTON

太誘人.太誘人了我承認我定力不夠..受不迷惑從知道MIGF的存在后,就開始找人陪我去..

忍不到1星期就去吃了^^

MIGF 2008 (Malaysia International Gourmet Festival)美食擂台今年踏入第八屆了這次共有28间参赛的餐厅 (中,西,日本,Italian,馬來,印度 & Asian food)

每間餐厅每個餐价錢都蠻貴的我找了很多讓自己去吃的理由^^ 終于讓我想到了

.............................提早慶祝Christmas

.............................還有"表揚"自己第一次沒三分鐘熱度@做東西..寫"美食記"寫了1年...慶祝Shell加"油"站一周年記念曰^^

我選了位于KL Hilton 的 Iketeru日本餐廳

它參賽的menu如下: 採用fine dining @ 方式上菜 一道接一道的上菜,讓客人有足夠的時間慢慢品嚐美食 (也讓我有足夠的時間慢慢拍照 )

拍照篇因為貪爽+覺得園子較美&特別,所以我迭坐室外 但...............................對從沒在暗暗的地方拍照的我造成了很大@煩惱 很多照片都不能用...

環境篇

主食篇MIGF 2008 MENU(一個人@份量):
MIFG @ 每間餐廳每道菜都是精心design然后才上桌的
"色香味"的"色"Iketeru是做得很成功的

第一道上的是appertizer

*organic vegetables with Okinawa salt Organice@蔬菜配上沖縄鹽..生的蔬菜沾鹽后變得更清甜

了..還有喜歡那脆脆的口感 ^^

* Home–made tofu 這豆腐 ..就不太合我了
自製的豆腐口感跟一般外面吃的不同..這有點像蒸蛋mix with pudding

第二道壽司Yellow tail & octopus sushi with Himalayan pink salt
食材只用了鹽來調味,客人能清楚得品嚐到魚& Octopus的新鮮和天然鮮味

對這Yellow Tail Sushi只能有一個字................"正"

吃前對它沒特別期望..它帶給我驚喜 品嚐真正魚鮮味

第三道蒸食

Steamed Matsuba crab, sea urchin, turnip & tonburi seedServed with kikka sauce, Australian pink salt
外形很吸引的一道菜,是螃蟹肉加蘿蔔做底,上面放了魚子醬& 海胆

碟上放有橘花汁, 淡淡的汁加上淡淡的蟹肉... 不是我愛的( 可能是我不愛螃蟹@原因吧)

第四道炸食* Light fried tempura of Conger eel, lobster & maitake mushroom
Tempura炸海鰻,龍蝦,菇 & 燈籠椒

炸海鰻 這魚帶點甜味加上脆脆的外衣,讓人情不自禁的一口接一口的吃

Served with original mixed salt, curry, matcha, pepper
炸食本身味道不重,沾點pepper粉,curry粉 or salt都很不錯

第五道 :主食 炭火燒烤和牛
來了..來了....千等万等的日本和牛終于上桌了

是用和牛@肋骨肉,旁邊放有粗鹽, 很好吃的腌泡番茄

Served with tomato fruit

很好吃的腌泡番茄

由於和牛的血統及飼養方式與其他國家品種的牛隻有別，形成和牛獨特的味道與質感，令和牛牛肉的價格比其他牛隻高。近年，也有其他國家如澳洲輸入及飼養和牛。
日本飼養的和牛，對飼料和品質控制非常嚴謹，每隻和牛在出生時便有證明書以證明其血統。自出生後，和牛便以牛奶、草及含蛋白質的飼料飼養；一些牧場更會聘請專人為牛隻按摩及灌飲啤酒，令肉質更鮮嫩。 (from wikipedia)

自己動手燒

原汁原味的和牛,只需放點粗鹽,就能品嚐到美味多汁的牛肉了
和牛雖沒別人所講入口及熔那么夸張,但它@油花分佈平均細緻，肉質便會嫩而多汁 ^^
